Feb 13, 2010 - quick question... is this the original scoring or the 1972 re-score that chaplin did?? i own a 68mins version of this movie and this sequence has a different score which stunned me as its not what i had remembered!! if anyone can shed some light for me, it would be appreciated!

Feb 9, 2010 - This movie is so wonderful, especially this scene. The drama of the child being ripped away from Chaplin is just so unbelievable. it really rips your heart out. This is when movies were movies. No fancy dialog, no fancy special effects just acting You can feel the love between him and the child because of that. But what really made this movie so wonderful was the combination of that kind of drama combined with the Chaplin's style of slapstick comedy.
